Peter R. Kassabov, Chairman And CEO
Entrepreneur Peter Kassabov owns a successful record of transforming new business concepts into profitable, large-scale operational enterprises. Mr. Kassabov started his career at Logistix Corporation, where he was a key member of an executive team that grew the company in seven years from a small outsourcing entity, with fewer than 300 employees, to one of the world’s largest high-tech outsourcing enterprises with more than $750 million in revenue, 3,500 employees and 18 locations on five continents. Mr. Kassabov was responsible for the implementation and management of integrated direct-to-consumer operations, including e-commerce, predictive modeling, customer service, order fulfillment and technology solutions worldwide for companies such as Microsoft, HP, Dell, Apple and Sony. In 1999, as a Founder and President of Connextions, Inc., one of the leading outsourcing firms in the U.S., Mr. Kassabov spearheaded the company’s self-funded, profitable growth from 30 employees to more than 1,000. Under his leadership, the Connextions team designed and implemented integrated analytical and service solutions for industry leaders such as Mercedes Benz, Olympus, EarthLink, Chase Manhattan and Nextel. The company’s success was recognized with numerous industry awards, including the “Call Center of the Year,” “CRM Implementation of the Year,” “100 Best Supply Chain Partners,” and “Fast 50,” among others. In 2003, recognizing healthcare industry challenges and opportunities, Mr. Kassabov founded Connextions Health, LLC. Under his leadership the company grew into a profitable enterprise, employing hundreds of nurses, clinicians and licensed insurance sales agents. Connextions Health’s unique predictive modeling solutions enabled health care insurance plans to identify and manage high cost healthcare conditions through integrated member-centric disease management and wellness programs. Company clients include United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Net and Cedars Sinai. In 2006 Mr. Kassabov successfully sold his ownership in Connextions and Connextions Health to a major private equity firm. An American citizen, Mr. Kassabov holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from HIACE Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria, his native country. He is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and serves on the Board of the Orlando Chapter of YPO. Jeffrey Taylor, Managing Director And Chief Business Development Officer
Mr. Taylor controls all Sales & Marketing, governmental initiatives, and manages all of the company’s high level client relationships. In addition to his working title, he continues to play an integral role in the development of unique data and process solutions to help better overall industry practices - such as exclusive data sources for lenders to make better loans, and forensic review and loss mitigation solutions to help investors manage their portfolios. Prior to co-founding Digital Risk, LLC, Mr. Taylor was a Partner of Rapid Reporting Marketing Group, Ltd., the first private company to contract with the Social Security Administration (SSA) for authentication of Social Security numbers against the SSA database. As a business development manager at Connextions, Inc., an integrated outsourcing provider, Mr. Taylor was responsible for Business development and played a critical role on the company's management team, which achieved triple digit revenue growth during his tenure. A self-starter at his core, prior to Connextions, Mr. Taylor was the Founder of American Transfer and Trust, Inc., a SEC licensed stock transfer agency, servicing NASDAQ Small Cap and OTCBB companies. An accomplished industry advocate, he is a sought after speaker at various industry panels, trade shows, and rating agencies. The Federal Reserve, the U.S. Treasury and Fox Business News often call upon Mr. Taylor’s unique insight. Alex Santos, President And Managing Director
Alex Santos brings more than 15 years of executive experience to his role as President of Digital Risk. He has overall management responsibility – including strategy development, client service, analytics and operations. Mr. Santos has developed experience across a wide range of residential mortgage products and asset-based financial markets, including whole loan mortgages, mortgage backed securities, and other asset backed debt instruments. Prior to Digital Risk, Mr. Santos was a Senior Vice President at Connextions, Inc. Connextions is one of the country’s most innovative solutions provider to the healthcare and consumer products industries integrating analytical tools with expert services. At Connextions, Mr. Santos was responsible for the supply chain business unit including the development of predictive models utilized to optimize client’s inventory levels, fill-rates, cost and velocity. Also while at Connextions, Mr. Santos oversaw the development of models designed to identify chronic disease prior to diagnosis allowing disease management and wellness services to intervene and mitigate skyrocketing healthcare costs. Prior to Connextions, Mr. Santos was a member of Ernst & Young LLP’s Merger and Acquisition practice serving Fortune 500 clients as well as major private equity firms in the financial technology sector. While at Ernst & Young, Mr. Santos worked on 60 transactions with a total value of $12 billion. Mr. Santos began his career as financial auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP specializing in financial services. Mr. Santos has earned advanced degrees in both Law and Accounting from the University of Florida. Mr. Santos is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Florida Bar. Mark Hinshaw, CFO
Previously, Mr. Hinshaw served as Senior Vice President at Countrywide Financial Corporation, where he oversaw product development, pricing, competitive benchmarking, and a variety of predictive analytics including credit risk, pre-payment speed, and compensation optimization. Mr. Hinshaw began his career at Bank of America Corp (NYSE: BAC) managing whole loan trading, whole loan pricing, risk management, securitization, hedging and M&A functions. Mr. Hinshaw holds a MBA in Administration and Finance and a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy. Jim Yeh, Chief Analytics Officer
Jim Yeh brings over 15 years of leadership experience in Financial Services from around the world to Digital Risk, LLC as the Chief Analytics Officer. He currently presides over the analytics development, overseeing the development and design of Digital Risk's rating analytical models. Mr. Yeh also leads the Product Development Team, calling on his years of expertise to ensure Digital Risk remains the market leader in risk mitigation services. Before bringing his financial expertise to Digital Risk, LLC, Mr. Yeh held the position of Executive Vice President at Countrywide, where he oversaw execution, pricing and analytics of the secondary market. His responsibilities extended to best execution for agency and non-agency loans, agency and non-agency pricing, pricing process re-engineering and analytics. Mr. Yeh also held a variety of roles at Credit Suisse Group including CMBS, RMBS and ABS issuance and structuring, CDS and commercial loan syndication, Interest Rate Swap trading, currency hedging, conduit risk oversight, performing and non-performing whole loan pricing, and MBS portfolio risk mitigation. In addition to his list of distinguished company roles over the years, Mr. Yeh has also become a member of NYSSA, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Mr. Yeh holds both a Masters and Doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in Operation Research. Eric Rawlings, Chief Technology Officer
Eric Rawlings serves as Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for the delivery and support of all of Digital Risks’ internal and external Information Technology platforms and services. Eric is also responsible for the internal security and data fulfillment groups that serve the companies operational units and ensure the integrity and security of all company and client data. Prior to Digital Risk, Eric was Chief Technology Officer at Connextions, Inc. In that role, Eric was responsible for the delivery, management and security of many different Fortune 500 outsourced fulfillment and information delivery platforms provided for large scale ecommerce and health management services provided by the operations. At Connextions Eric was the sole technology representative within the client practice group which provided expert consulting services to such firms as JP Morgan, United Healthcare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Mercedes Benz, Nextel and Olympus. Prior to Connextions, Eric served as the Information Security Officer and as a Project Manager for a large military defense contractor. In that capacity, Eric was responsible for ensuring information security and excellence in delivery across a broad range of public and high security military defense projects. Eric holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from NC State University where he graduated With Highest Praise. Omar Quddus, Senior Vice President of Operations
Mr. Quddus brings 20 years of strategic operations management expertise to his position as Senior Vice President of Operations. He has a long history of guiding organizations from the ground up to become large scale enterprises through the design, implementation and management of complex integrated business solutions. His solutions have served the needs of Fortune 100 clients including Microsoft, Dell, Apple, Sony, and Hewlett Packard. Prior to Digital Risk, Mr. Quddus pursued multiple entrepreneurial pursuits as he co-founded and served as president of Advocate Auto Claims; created Gourmet Enterprises, LLC, a restaurant franchising roll-up with Raving Brands, Inc.; and created Millennia Properties, LLC, a residential properties investment company. Mr. Quddus, along with several current Digital Risk principals, lead the rapid growth of Connextions, Inc., from a start-up venture to more than 1,000 employees in five years. Under his leadership as Senior Vice President of Operations, the Connextions team designed and implemented integrated solutions for industry leaders such as Mercedes Benz, Olympus, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, EarthLink, Levi Straus & Co., Chase Manhattan and Nextel. The company’s success was recognized with numerous industry awards, including the "Call Center of the Year", "CRM Implementation of the Year", "100 Best Supply Chain Partners", and "Fast 50". Prior to Connextions, as head of operations at Onsale.com/Egghead.com (now Amazon.com), he grew the company from a $140M per year venture to over $500M business in less than 18 months. Mr. Quddus developed his business process outsourcing (BPO) and supply base management skills with leadership positions at iLogistix, Inc and Apple Computer, Inc. Derek A. Rich, Senior Vice President, Head of CRE Solutions Mr. Rich has spent the last 13 years in the Commercial Real Estate lending, structuring and securitization industry in both the US and in Europe. Mr. Rich started his career analyzing and rating CMBS transactions for an international ratings agency and in 1999 began his banking career at Goldman Sachs followed by Deutsche Bank in New York where he underwrote and sold over $3B of commercial real estate loans to institutional CMBS buyers. In late 2001, Mr. Rich assisted in the expansion of Deutsche Bank’s CMBS platform to Europe. Based in London, the business was geographically responsible for Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, India and South-east Asia and over 6 years grew to approximately 130 employees which originated, serviced and distributed in excess of $15 billion in performing and non-performing loan product annually. Mr. Rich focused his efforts on the structuring and capital markets distribution side of the business. During his time in Europe, Mr. Rich sold approximately $20 billion of loan products including CMBS, mezzanine and preferred equity to institutional investment buyers. In 2007, he joined UBS as an Executive Director in its Real Estate Finance and Securitization business in Europe and Asia. Mr. Rich graduated from the University of Florida and currently lives in Orlando, Florida. Bruce Miller, Structured Finance
Before joining Digital Risk, he was Managing Director/Group Head of the Americas Securitization Group at ING Capital, where was responsible for the firm’s mortgage and non-mortgage related securitization activities in North and South America. Prior to that, he was a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he founded and ran the firm’s original Conduit and Credit Products Group; he held senior positions in Asset Finance, Short and Medium Term Finance / Debt Capital Markets, and Financial Institutions. Previously, Mr. Miller was Head of the Securitization Group at The Daiwa Bank, Ltd., where he ran the firm’s U.S. securitization business. He has advised clients in the securitization of most consumer and commercial asset classes, and has originated, structured, and executed securitized financings in the ABCP Conduit, Public ABS, Private Placement, and Bank markets. Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from St. John’s University and a M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the New York University Stern School. He has taught corporate finance at the undergraduate level, and has been a guest speaker at securitization industry conferences. David C. Cash, Strategic Relationships
David Cash uniquely combines technology expertise with a track record for building high level relationships to his role as Vice President, Strategic Relationships. David is responsible for identifying, developing and managing relationships with partners that can help Digital Risk execute its strategy. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Cash held numerous and increasingly important positions at AMX Corporation. AMX Corporation incorporates one-touch control solutions to make business and home the perfect blends of technology and simplicity. As a part of the rapid, worldwide growth of AMX, Mr. Cash was responsible for the growth of the European and Asian market segments providing global sales support, sales engineering and client support. Mr. Cash designed and provided oversight of the company’s prototype entry into the hotel vertical space. Following his successful tenure at AMX Corporation, Mr. Cash consulted at InterWest Partners as a Technical Analyst. In his role he was providing new ventures technical analysis and evaluation, assisting business strategy development. Mr. Cash holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, and took post-graduate studies in European business management in Salamanca, Spain. Russell C. Albers, CFA, Senior Vice President, Co-Head Structured Finance
Russ Albers is an accomplished investment banker with 30 years experience in investment banking, capital markets and asset backed securities. Russ’ background includes extensive advisory and consulting work, and senior positions with numerous investment banks and a monoline insurance company. Russ is currently working as an advisor to clients of Jenison Financial, LLC and Digital Risk. In 2008 and 2009 Russ provided consulting services to the Carlyle Group related to their RMBS portfolio. Other advisory work included external client structured finance consulting while at Andersen Corporate Finance as the Managing Director and Head of their U.S. structured finance advisory business. Russ also has held several senior corporate positions each of which focused on third party clients. He was a Managing Director at XL Capital – Commercial ABS, a SVP at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey – ABS, a Managing Director at Wachovia Securities, a Managing Director at Bank of America Securities - Global Asset Backed Securities and a Director at MNC Financial - Head of Fixed Income Securities Sales and Trading, Public Finance and Securitization. Russ was commissioned as a National Bank Examiner while working for the Treasury Department – Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, specializing in investment securities and NASD compliance. Russ is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has held both General Securities Principal (Series 24) and General Securities Representative (Series 7) designations for most of his career. Jenine Fitter, Senior Vice President of Client Solutions
Jenine Fitter brings over 15 years of RMBS/ABS experience with significant knowledge in mortgage credit/risk management and mortgage securitization. Jenine Fitter serves as Senior Vice President of Client Solutions primarily responsible for business development for our due diligence, forensic loan reviews, QC and credit risk management services, as well as other risk management analytics. Before joining Digital Risk, Fitter served as Vice President, Sales at First American CoreLogic (BasePoint Analytics) where she was responsible for sales of mortgage-backed security data/analytics tools and risk management solutions to fixed income investment management firms, hedge funds, originators/servicers as well as other buyers/traders of residential mortgages and RMBS. Prior to that, Fitter was a Director at Standard & Poors where she spearheaded the effort to modify S&P’s RMBS rating criteria to include increased scrutiny on lenders risk management practices. Prior to that Fitter was Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, at New Century Mortgage where she oversaw all aspects of ABS investor relations. During her three years there, Fitter expanded investor relationships both domestically as well as in Europe and Asia. She developed and executed investor relations strategy and presented the company’s secondary markets and risk management strategies. Fitter has extensive knowledge of the RMBS and ABS ratings business as she spent over 10 years at Fitch, Inc in both the RMBS and ABS groups. While at Fitch, Fitter analyzed RMBS and ABS transactions as well managed a team of RMBS analysts, overseeing collateral evaluation, credit and structural analysis. Fitter also developed and maintained mortgage credit criteria, as well as established and maintained relationships with mortgage lenders/issuers and investment banks. Fitter played an integral role developing and maintaining relationships with RMBS/ABS investors.Fitter holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University. |
