
Digital Risk chairman and CEO, Peter Kassabov, has been named a finalist for the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Florida awards. Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. As the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs, it has grown to 26 programs in the US, and its global program now spans 50 countries. Three Central Florida businessmen have been named finalists in the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Florida awards.
The entrepreneurs were selected by an independent judging panel made up of previous winners of the award, leading CEOs, private capital investors and other regional business leaders. The winners will be revealed at an event on June 16 at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate.
The Central Florida finalists include:
Financial Services category: Peter R. Kassabov, chairman and CEO, Digital Risk LLC , Maitland
Health Care category: Michael D. Means, president and CEO, Health First, Rockledge
Real Estate and Construction Services category: John R. Jennings, president, CEO and COO, Waste Pro, Longwood
The Entrepreneur of the Year program honors entrepreneurs regionally in June, leading up to the national awards in November.
